Warren Alan Griffin

U.S. Veteran

Funeral service for Warren Alan Griffin, age 45, of Edgewater, who died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Ocean View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Smyrna Beach, will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Settle-Wilder's New Smyrna Beach Chapel. Calling hours will be from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will follow in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater.

Born in Denville, New Jersey, Mr. Griffin, a time share salesman, served in the United States Army in Germany, then moved to Edgewater. An expert marksman, he was also an AMI certified computer tech and very successful real estate agent who loved dogs, horses, fishing, and boating.

Survivors include 2 sons, Alan and Joshua Griffin; mother, Mary Helen Griffin Bivens; father, Charles Russell Griffin and his wife, Susan; brother, Russell W. Griffin and his wife, Beth; sister, Lisa D. Crabtree and her husband, Charlie; 5 nephews Nathaniel, Benjamin and Lucas Griffin, and Brandon and Bryan Crabtree; and 1 grandson, Tristin. Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
