Ann Rees

Ann Rees, age 82, of New Smyrna Beach, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange Care Center.

Born in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Rees came to this area over 30 years ago. She was a member of The New Church at Lake Helen, a beloved sponsor in the Al-Anon program, and an avid bridge player.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Robert; two sons, Scott (Chara) Daum and Richard (Sheila) Daum, both of Bryn Athyn, PA; sister, Judy (Carl) Goetzinger, of Edgewater, Maryland; and seven grandchildren, Ethan, Simon, Ivy, Natalie, Marie, Christine, and Julie Daum.

Memorial service will be 12:00 noon, October 8, 2017, at The New Church at Lake Helen, 145 N. Euclid Avenue, Lake Helen, FL 32744, with the Reverend Lou Synnestvedt officiating.
