Charles Edward Longecker, age 90, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, March 4 at Halifax Hospice, Port Orange. Born in New Rockford, North Dakota to Cleo and Alma Mauer Longnecker,
Charles served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a real estate investor in Washington state, enjoyed farming, livestock and was a very hard worker. Charles was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Survivors include daughters, Melody (Ron) Toussaint of Burlington, Washington and Lisa (Jim) Rogers of New Smyrna Beach; sons, Charles (Paula) Brady of Burlington, Washington and Curtis Brian Longnecker of Mannessa, Colorado; brother, Ervin Longnecker of New Rockford, Maryland; sister, Lucille Saldivar of Anaheim California; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
