Donald E. Everett

Donald E. Everett, age 82, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, August 20, 2017. 

Born in Johnson City, NY, Mr. Everett came to this area in 1985, from Cameron, NY. He was the past president of the Binghamton Boat Club and member of the US Power Squadron. Donald enjoyed boating, kayaking, gardening, exercising, and his Bible study group. He was a devoted husband of 61 years and will be missed greatly.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marilyn “Lynn”; his devoted dog, Chico Bear; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Roger) Christian, of Oak Hill and Joyce Deyo, of Casselberry; two brothers-in-law, Bert (Nancy) Scherer and Robert (Carol) Scherer, both of Binghamton; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and loving friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Darling, and his father, Elwin Everett.

A memorial service in Mr. Everett’s honor will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Edgewater Union Church, with the Reverend Ned Michael officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins, at the church.
