Eileen Bengtson

Eileen Bengtson, age 74, of Edgewater, died Friday, May 12, 2017 at home.  Born in the Bronx, New York, she came to this area in 2014 from her place of birth.

A homemaker, she was raised a Catholic, and was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, affectionately called “Noni” by her grandchildren.  Also, she loved her dogs, Zia and Charlie.

Survivors include her huband of 50 years, Chuck; three daughters, Erica (Silvio) Pietroluongo of the Bronx, New York, Kirsten (Dave) Drake of Edgewater, and Diana (Michael) Poli of Mahopac, New York; a granddaughter, Coleen of Edgewater; four grandsons, Anthony and Jason, of the Bronx, Jake and Alexander of Mahopac; and a sister, Diana (Joseph) Seeman of Cranford, New Jersey.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Monday, May 15, 2017 at Settle-Wilder Chapel, with a Redemptorist Father from Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Monday until service time.

The family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2180 W. State Road 434, Suite 1100, Longwood, FL 32779.
