Frank Geiger

Francis D. Geiger, age 83, died Friday September 29, 2017 at his residence.  Born in Zephyrhills, Florida, Mr. Geiger came to this area in 1995 from Lakehurst, New Jersey.  He was a retired staff sergeant with the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion in Tampa.

A Dallas Cowboys football fan, he also enjoyed fishing, wood working and carving, gardening, travel, and making life easier for all around him.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Darla; three sons, Jim (Pam) Geiger of Hobbs, New Mexico; Robert (Tammy) Geiger of Ormond Beach; Tom Clausen (girlfriend Amber Bobbe) of New Smyrna Beach; four grandchildren, Destiny (Adam) McNair of Maryville, Tennessee; Travis (Carissa) Geiger of Davenport, Iowa; Brandon Geiger and Brian Geiger of Ormond Beach; two great-grandchildren, Kira and Aiden McNair of Maryville, Tennessee; a multitude of nieces and nephews, as well as his grand-dogs, Harley and Ripley and grand-bird, Rion. Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Yoshiko, who passed away in 1995, and parents Arlie and Mae Geiger.

Committal service with full military honors will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, New Jersey.
