Geraldine "Jerry" Edith Clark

Geraldine "Jerry" Edith Clark, 72, of  Edgewater, Florida, formerly of Hornell, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

Mrs. Clark was born December 30, 1944, in Hornell, NY, to Edwin L Dunn and Dorothy Louise Cronk. On Oct. 19,1962, she married Ivan Robert Clark, in Corning, and was employed for years at Andy’s Sub Shop. Jerry loved playing bingo and going to the beach, but mostly spending time with her family.
 
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; brother, James Dunn; and two sisters, Carol Hartson and Dorothy Lisi.

Survivors include one son, Ivan Robert (Donna) Clark Jr, of Edgewater, Florida; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn (Tim) Hurne, of South Daytona, Florida and Kristine Clark, of Hornell, NY; ten grandchildren, Andrea, Kasey, Tracey, Bobbiejo, Brett, Matthew, Jeri, Taylear, TJ, and Luke; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Carol) Dunn, of Phoenix, NY and David (Joanne) Dunn of Pittsford, NY; and her sister-in-law, and best friend, Yancy Dunn, of Greenville, MS.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo. A celebration of Jerry's life will immediately follow at the VFW, 245 Canisteo St., Hornell, NY 14843. There will be no prior calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by H.P Smith & Son Funeral Inc., in Canisteo.
