Leonard David Buczkowske

Leonard “Butch” Buczkowske, age 75, of New Smyrna Beach, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital, Daytona Beach. 

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Buczkowske came to this area in 1952 from his birthplace. Butch served in the United States Navy; attended First Church of the Nazarene and was a founding member of Shady Grove Church of God. He loved his family, the mountains and fishing was his life. 

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carol; one son, Dr. David (Catalina) of Sanford; one grandson, Daniel (Rachel) Wiggins of New Smyrna Beach; one daughter, Darlene Lewis of Port Orange; two sisters, Marjorie Ranger of Punta Gorda and Sandra Buczkowske of Titusville; two brothers, Henry Buczkowske, Jr. (Sharon) of Victorville, California and Michael Buczkowske of Kingsport, Tennessee and a large extended family. Mr. Buczkowske was preceded in death by one daughter, Deanna Wiggins in 1999; one grandson, Christopher Wiggins in 1989; and his mother and father. 

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Shady Grove Church of God, Oak Hill with the Reverend Adrian Calhoun, First Church of the Nazarene and Brother Jimmy Burch, Shady Grove Church of God officiating.
