Linda L. Pleterski

Linda L. Pleterski, age 62, of New Smyrna Beach, died August 26, 2016 at Halifax Health Hospice Edgewater.  Born in Edgewater, Linda grew up in Samsula and was a lifetime area resident.

A graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, Linda was an office worker for several local businesses, including Massey and Yunker Accountants, Tumbling Insurance Agency, Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, and Electrical Construction.  She attended First Church of the Nazarene, where she volunteered with the youth groups, and was an active member of both the Volusia Cattlewomen’s Association and SNPJ Lodge #603, Samsula.

Linda is survived by her sister, Grace Pleterski, of Lynn Haven; sister, Lucy, and her husband, Dr. Tracy Weiner, of New Smyrna Beach; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24 at Settle-Wilder Chapel, with the Reverend Charles Acheson, First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  A reception will follow at the SNPJ Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the SNPJ Scholarship Fund, Post Office Box 1078, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32170.
