Lorraine C. Paige, age 94, formerly of Edgewater, died Wednesday, March 28 in Longwood. Born in Port Trevorton, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Paige came to this area in 1982 from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Paige was a telephone operator and supervisor for Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania, retiring after 30 years of services. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Kopman and husband, Phil, of Longwood, Kay Kline and husband, Tom, of Titusville; a sister, Joanne Failor of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and two brothers, Galen and Billy Campbell.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 at Settle-Wilder Chapel, with the Reverend Mark Spivey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Veterans Wall of Honor at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time.
