ROBINSON, MARGARET

Margaret Robinson, age 90, of Oak Hill, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Garden House and Rehabilitation Center.  Born in Punta Gorda to Garrett and Loraine Hutchinson Howland; Margaret moved to this area as a child.  An employee for the Volusia county public schools, Mrs. Robinson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Hill, the Oak Hill Garden Club, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include 4 children, Kevin(Sue) Robinson, of New Smyrna Beach, Kim (Roy) Westberry, of Oak Hill, Kathy (Gary) Bittle, of Oak Hill, and Katy Moss of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Irene Howland, of Oak Hill, and Jean Pittman, of Perry; 7grandchildren, Rusty and Melissa Westberry, Margaret Parent, Terri Hargis, Gary Bittle Jr., Katlyn and Kaylee Bittle; 4 great grandchildren, Taylor Hargis, Caleb and Alyssa Parent, and Sage Bittle; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Russell, in 1998.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, at the First Baptist Church of Oak Hill, with Dr. Tim Palmer officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
