Nori Ann Jacobowitz

Nori Ann Jacobowitz, age 55, of Edgewater, died Wednesday, July 19 at Florida Hospital Memorial after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, Nori Ann came to this area in 2005 from Brick, New Jersey.

A popular bartender at Smyrna Yacht Club Tiki Bar.  Nori Ann enjoyed the beach, boating, fishing, motorcycling, and traveling the United States with her husband in their motor home. 

Survivors include her husband, Matthew Purdom; two brothers, Lanny (Bobbie) Jacobowitz of Sunbury, Ohio, and Keith (Sharon) Jacobowitz of Leonardo, New Jersey; nieces and nephews; and her two beloved cats, Roxy and Molly.

A celebration of her life will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 5, at Smyrna Yacht Club, 1201 South Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach. All friends and loved ones are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to American Cancer Society SE Florida, 1737 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 140, Daytona Beach, FL  32117, or  Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
