Patricia Long

Patricia I. Long, age 82, of Edgewater, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at her residence.  Born to Travis and Mary (Roberts) McDaniel, Patricia was a lifelong resident of this area.  

A charter member of the First Baptist Church in Edgewater, Patricia enjoyed crocheting and crafts, but her family was everything to her and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include 7 children, Jerry (Michelle) Long of South Carolina, James Long of Edgewater, Kevin (Tina) Long of Texas, Frank Long of Edgewater, Pamela (Ronnie) Smith of Arkansas, Glenn (Beall) Long of Edgewater, and Donald Long; 2 brothers, Jerry McDaniel of New Smyrna Beach and Roland McDaniel of Edgewater; 3 sisters, Mary (Buck) Cowart of Plant City, Betty (Joe) Oertli of Edgewater, and Martha Burbaugh of Edgewater; 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Aulbert Long; and 3 sons, John, Timothy and Bobby Long.  

The family will hold a memorial service 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Edgewater, with the Reverend Rick Norman officiating.
