Robert George Marinak

Robert George Marinak, age 68, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, August 13, 2017. 

Mr. Marinak was born in the Bronx, New York to Anton and Rita McIntosh Marinak and relocated to this area 41 years ago. He served in the United Stated Army during the Vietnam War in Germany as an MP. Robert was an excellent chef and worked at Manny’s Pizzeria for 9 years. He spent many years as an over-the-road truck driver and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. His grandchildren were his world and he loved them dearly.

Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Marinak, of Daytona Beach; four grandchildren, Keirsten Wheeler, Kmaijah Richardson, Ahnystte Richardson, and Mayjon Richardson; his girlfriend of 20 years, Delores Hamilton; and one great-grandchild, Dakarri Woodard. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kayla Crouser; sister, Margaret Marinak; and step-father, James Boyette.
