Robert A. "Bob" Riley

Robert (Bob) Riley of New Smyrna Beach passed over peacefully at home on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at the age of 85.  

Born in Baltimore, MD, Bob retired from the Baltimore Sun newspaper in 1991.   After retirement he and his late beloved wife, Marci followed their life’s dream and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. as well as many parts of the world.

Bob was extremely loving and proud of his two daughters, Cindy (Ron) Davis of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Missy (Carl) Haynes of Charlotte NC along with his cherished granddaughter Macey Haynes of Charlotte NC Bob will be forever remembered for his outgoing personality, a quick smile and a witty comment, his love of politics and his positive attitude.  He never met a stranger and always positively influenced everyone he met.

Bob is now with his soulmate and loving wife of 58 years and is regaling everyone in heaven, with many entertaining stories of his travels and family.
