Robert L. Roosa

Robert L. Roosa, age 68, of Edgewater, died Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Florida Hospital New Smyrna.

Born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio to Leslie and Janet Kaiser Roosa; Mr. Roosa moved to this area in 2014. He worked as an electrical inspector for the State of Ohio and after retirement, stayed involved with a website, where he continued to help people with their electrical issues. Robert was a history lover and had a specific interest in WWII, especially for the airplanes from that era. Also a motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed attending Bike Week and Biketoberfest activities.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years Terry; three daughters, Leslie Armstrong, of Garrettsville, OH, Sara Roosa, of Ohio City, OH, and Morgan (Charles) White, of Mantua, OH; two grandsons, Caiden Roosa, of Edgewater and Nate Armstrong, of Garettsville; brother, Matthew (Becky) Roosa, of Hiram, OH; sister, Betsy Borling, of Hiram; and mother and father-in-law, Mary and Jim Knotts, of Mineral Wells, WV. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Mr. Roosa’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017, at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcomed to gather immediately following the service. Refreshments will be served.
