Shane W. Stewart

Shane W. Stewart, age 40, of New Smyrna Beach, died September 14, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Fairport, New York, Shane came to this area, in 1978, from Fairport, New York. He was a big NASCAR and wrestling fan. A real history buff, Shane liked to take road trips with his father, Ernie, to see historical sights and monuments. He was very close to his father and loved traveling with him. 

Survivors include his father, Ernie; mother, Marsha Stewart, of Sanford; step-mother, Jackie; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Baxter, of Fairport, NY; uncle and aunt, Jack (Kathy) Baxter, of East Rochester, NY; and three cousins, Nicole, Jeffrey, and Bridgett.

A celebration of Shane’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with Christopher Salomone officiating.
