One month today my big little brother, still no relief from the tears when I think of you. I loved you so much, I can't find words strong enough to explain that love. Far away or right next door we were always together. For all the times you came to me when I was in need, I was not there for you in yours and it all seems so wrong. The man who took care of everyone, died alone in his room. I pray your death came quickly and that your suffering was far less than the suffering you were living since Lil Stans passing in April. I will see you on the other side, the first one after our lord. Until then, I will miss you every day and my fears of leaving this world are lightened knowing that you will be waiting.

There are those people who come into your life you just know will always be there for you. Stan was that person! His smile was contagious, he always had a place in his heart for every person he came in contact with. I have been married to his nephew Joseph Stern for 22 years. We are truly blessed to have been a part of his life and will cherish every memory that we have shared. I hope he is at peace with Little Stan. Until we meet again Uncle Stan. RIP all our love Joe, Lynn and Jess
