My sincere condolences for the loss of your Husband. I know that losing a mate can be a difficult time in life.
What has helped me is the hope given in the bible at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth so they can enjoy living forever in peace. Ps 37:11,29
One day God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more.
Rev 21:3,4.
I hope these promises will also bring you comfort.

Missin' you ol' buddy. It was an honor to have served with you over the years through VVA...you were a great asset for our chapters. I'll see you someday and we can wet a line in God's River of Life together, or at that BIG Veteran Reunion up there. Love & Peace-in-Christ, Terry

My dear friend and Vietnam War Brother and hero. Thank you for serving our Country and the many sacrifices that you have endured. Thank you for helping our fellow veterans in need, volunteering a lot of your time to help our fellow man.
It seems like just yesterday, we were together at one of our Vietnam Veterans meetings, you would always make a point to say hello. You always said yes when you were asked to do something for VVA Chapter 1048. Your family will truly miss you, we will miss you, but never forget you! Rest in Peace!

God Bless, see you on the other side.

Rod Phillips,
President Vietnam Veterans Daytona Beach Chapter 1048

Where does one start when one thinks of a favorite uncle? There are many wonderful memories that I can choose from. As a child, I looked forward to our annual summer visit from Uncle Billy and Aunt Annie. There were quite a few Christmas holidays spent together, as we would drive down from Tennessee to Florida. Then when we moved back to Florida after a long time away, we stayed with Uncle Billy and Aunt Annabelle, for a few months. I thank you Uncle Billy for taking us under your wing during transition in our lives. You had a welcoming and generous heart. Looking back I can see what an incredibly patient man you were as well, patience is a true gift.

Uncle Billy was blessed with a large, and loving family. What a beautiful legacy he leaves with all his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Most importantly, they knew and enjoyed him. He was a devoted man to his family, to his Vietnam brothers, and to his country. He was a no nonsense gentleman who enjoyed the amusement of life.

I love you so much Uncle Billy. I'm remembering you wearing your hard hat, and driving the cement truck...which I might add, as a child I thought was super cool. Also, the time when Rob and I were visiting and we went out driving in your amazing muscle car. What fun that was! I really remember how much we were all laughing.

I am deeply grateful and proud that you are my uncle. You are cherished today and always.

Rest peacefully beloved uncle xo Melissa, Rob, Daisy and Lucy
