Beulah "Boots" Comer Obituary

Beulah “Boots” Comer, 76, of Edgewater, died at her residence on Wednesday March 24, 2021. She was born to the late Charles and Margaret (Sales) Hibbard on July 31, 1944 in Alexandria, Alabama.
 
Boots worked at Publix for 23 years in the bakery department, along with baking delicious breads, cookies and pastries, she became a wonderful cake decorator.
You could find “Boots” and her husband at every Turkey Rod Run, or riding their motorcycles. She also had many other talents that included, crocheting, which she shared with her mother, and ceramics with her loving daughter Kimberlee. Boots enjoyed fishing on the river and spending time with her dog Nikita whom she adored.
 
Survivors include 2 sons; Brent (Char Kramer) Comer of Edgewater, Trevor (Lori) Comer of Samsula, daughter; Kimberlee (Frank) Sherrod of Edgewater, 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, sister; Shirley McCary of Port Orange, 2 brothers; Kirby (Joyce) Hibbard, of Nashville TN, Virgil Gibson, of Port Jefferson, OH., sister-in-law; Connie Comer, of Sidney, OH. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank of 55 years.
 
A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach, with Pastor Donna Blythe officiating.
