Cecil M. Goodrich, age 83, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Smyrna Beach, to Millard and Viola Vann Goodrich. Cecil was self employed as a Commercial Fisherman and an owner of Goodrich Seafood Restaurant. He enjoyed gardening, feeding the squirrels and birds in his back yard, and loved going on cruises with his late wife Judy. Cecil was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Tammy (Hal) Copeland of Edgewater; Beth (David) Myers of Geneva; 2 sons, Tim Goodrich of Mims; Marty Goodrich of Oak Hill; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dot Burch, Carol Buczkowske, Nora Lee (Bill) Sproles; one brother, Neal (Susan) Goodrich. Also survived by extended family, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 59 years Judy, 2 brothers Sonny and Johnny.
A memorial service to celebrate Cecil’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, at Shady Grove Church of God, 220 S. Gaines Street, Oak Hill, FL, 32759 with Brother Jim Burch officiating. His family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, also at the church.
