Master Sergeant (Ret.) David Dubois, age 64, of Edgewater, Florida, died suddenly Wednesday, April 20th at Florida Hospital New Smyrna Beach.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, David came to this area in 2002 from Gig Harbor, Washington. As a career United States Army Soldier, David began his military career in 1969, retiring in 1995. In David's 26 years serving his country he was awarded: Army Service Ribbon, Nation Defense Service medal (Bronze Service Star), Army Good Conduct Medal (8th award,) Army Commendation medal (3rd Oak leaf Cluster,) Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Oak Leaf Cluster,) Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development just to name a few.
David later worked at Coronado Paint Company. He was currently employed by the Council On Aging in New Smyrna Beach. He was also a member of the St. Gerard's Catholic Mission Church, the Knights of Columbus #13989, and American Legion Post #285, Edgewater, Florida.
David was the Neighborhood Handyman, always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed going on trips with his wife Ronnie, spending time with his daughter Angela and talking with his daughter Laura on the west coast, making new friends and sharing stories, going to yard sales and having his annual yard sale. These are the things that made him smile.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Veronica "Ronnie," loving daughters Laura Camirand of Lakewood, Washington and Angela Lamb of Oak Hill, Florida. Grandsons Jacob Macy of Oak Hill, FL, Zachary Camirand of Lakewood, WA. A sister and a friend Louise Rider of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and nieces Heidi Tucker of Edgewater, FL. and Brittany Rider of Orlando, FL. Last but not least his precious doggie Olivia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. Gerard's Catholic Mission Church, Edgewater, and reception to follow at Florida Shores Club House 2932 Lime Tree Dr. Edgewater, FL 32141.
