Colin MacNeil Obituary
Colin “Buzz” MacNeil, age 76, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. Born to Lewis Homer and Minnie Potter MacNeil, Buzz came to the area in 1990 from Canaan, Connecticut.
He retired from Conrad Yelvington Distributers, was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church, and volunteered at Halifax Auxiliary Medical Center. Buzz loved football, reading and his cats. Buzz was always ready with a joke and a smile.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Kathy, daughters Patricia (Chris) Angel of Port Orange, Pamala McIntire of Daytona Beach, Jodi Crandlemire of Daytona Beach, Heather (Marc) Frasca of Winsted, CT and Elizabeth Renner of St. Louis, MO, son Colin MacNeil of Miami Lakes, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 9th at Bella Vista Baptist Church of Edgewater with Pastor John Marsh officiating.
The family suggests memorials to Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 or Halifax Humane Society, 2354 West LPGA Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32120.
