Daniel Stojak Obituary

Daniel M. Stojak, age 67, of South Daytona, died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Advent Health New Smyrna Beach. Born in Harvey, Illinois to Theodore and Mary Moskalik Stojak, Dan came to the area from Hazel Crest, Illinois and was a longtime Florida resident.

A member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Hazel Crest, Illinois, he attended Marian Catholic High School. Dan was a professional PGA golf caddy for over 20 years. He was the caddy for Scott Simpson and Loren Roberts, winning several tournaments including a U. S. Open. Dan loved playing and teaching golf. His passion was golf and sports.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Stojak, of Hazel Crest, Illinois; 2 brothers, Larry Stojak of Chicago, Illinois and David (Tina) Stojak of Orland Park, Illinois and niece, Ashley Stojak of Orland Park, Illinois. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Ted.
