Diane (Wing) Colby

Diane Wing Colby, age 73, died peacefully at her home in Edgewater, FL.  Born in NJ to Frank and Vera Wing, Diane and her husband, Kenneth, retired to Florida in 2002 from Southampton, NJ.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Hubler (Scott) of Berea, OH; Nancy Klier (Dwayne) of Middleburg Heights, OH; Kimberly Wolfe (James) of Southampton, NJ; and Patricia Colby of Mt. Holly, NJ; grandchildren, Bryan and Sandra Hubler; Haley and Jacob Klier; Joshua, Colby and Jayson Wolfe; and Cameron and Hannah Marcum; brother, Frank Wing (Cathie), of Oak Hill, FL and sisters, Mary Moffitt, of Edgewater, FL and Joyce Parker of West Palm Beach, FL; Brother-in-law, William Colby of Marlton, NJ; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Kenneth W. Colby, Jr.; sisters Audrey Lewis, Joan Pierce and Frances Culbertson.

 

Diane was honored to raise 4 strong daughters and was a very proud "Money/Grandma/Gobby" to her 9 kind-hearted grandchildren.  She was a wonderful mother to many furbabies over the years and her beloved rescue dog, Malcolm, was by her side at the time of her passing.  Diane cared immensely about her Country and had a passion for airplanes and jewelry.
