Dora J. Bielut

Dora J. Bielut, age 83, of Edgewater, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater.  

 

Born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Dora came to the area in 2003 from Maryland. Dora enjoyed fishing with her husband when he owned a fishing charter, playing Bingo, shopping and playing cards, some would call her a card shark.

 

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, George; two daughters, Anita (Carl) Kolbusz of Green Bay, WI and Susan (Joseph) Miller of Salisbury, MD; three sons, Frank (Karen Sistek) Bielut, Jr. of Pikeville, KY, David (Ellen) Bielut of Monroe, LA and Tony Bielut of Wilkesbarre, PA; sister, Anita Peel of San Angelo, TX; cousin, Shirley Murphy of Goldsboro, NC; sister-in-law, Rosanne Bielut of Baltimore, MD; close friends, Mike and Kathy LaFountain of Edgewater; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Ramona and Penny and son, Raymond.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with the Chaplain Mark Spivey officiating. Entombment will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
