There are no words that would adequately express how blessed I have been to have Dottie in my life. She was not only a compassionate person, she had an incredible wit. I know the angels are laughing right now. Dick and I are sending up many prayers for her precious family.

No words can express how sad I am to hear of your passing. A friendship that began when you were my 8th grade Am History teacher in 1983/84 at Teague Middle School sparked by our Gator/Seminole rivalry. From phone calls by the victor after FSU/Fla football games to the many letters you wrote me when I moved to Atlanta after 8th grade and through college and beyond. You even flew to Atlanta for my wedding in 1992. We only got to see one another a few times through the years but they were always special.
You will be missed dearly and I will always cherish our friendship.
Thoughts and many prayers for Don, Sue and family.
Love, Deborah Parramore Dotson

I only knew Dottie a short time, having met her at altar guild at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was so joyful and full of life. I will miss her smiling face and joyful attitude. Fly high dear Dottie. Our loss is heaven's gain.

I knew Dottie almost 35 years ago as I joined the Spring Lake staff. I remember clearly how beautiful her smile was and how welcome she always made me feel. I am certain that warm and joyful smile brought comfort and happiness to many.
May her family share many memories in the days ahead!
