Elizabeth Capria Obituary
Elizabeth A. Capria, age 92, of DeLand, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Grand Villa of DeLand.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey to Joseph and Mary Stotler Chorba, Mrs. Capria came to this area from Trenton, New Jersey to Edgewater Landing in Edgewater in 1989.
A former homemaker, Mrs. Capria was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach. Early in her retirement she enjoyed reading, ceramics, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Capria will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Dominic; 2 sons, Dominic (Cynthia) Capria of Louisa, Kentucky and Daniel Capria of Las Vegas, Nevada; son-in-law, Doug Moll of the Villages, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Also survived my many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Capria was preceded by her parents, 2 daughters, Christine Capria Moll and Delores Capria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13th at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with the Reverend Patrick Quinn, T.O.R. officiating.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Grand Villa Employee Christmas Fund at 350 E. International Speedway Blvd., DeLand, FL 32724.
