Fanny Pavese Obituary

After 101 blessed years on this earth, Fanny Pavese went home to her lord on July 5, 2019.  She was born on February 16, 1918, in Morgantown, West Virginia to Andrew & Anna Constantino.  At age 22 she moved to NY, where she spent the majority of her life in Yonkers.  Finally, in 2016, she had enough of the cold NY winters - and headed south to Edgewater, FL where she enjoyed the rest of her days.

Fanny was widowed at a young age when her loving husband, Albert Pavese passed in February of 1973.  She was a devout Christian, a hard worker and loved dearly by all who knew her.  Fanny made friends everywhere she went!

She loved the beach and believed that the ocean water cured all.  She was an amazing story teller, and loved being with her family.  What a baker she was!!  From the school cafeterias to every holiday and birthday... we will miss all her tasty treats.

She was a member of the Emblem Club of Scarsdale and a long time congregant of the Yonkers Christian Academy - who gave her their Mother of the Year honor in 2012.

She outlived her 5 siblings and their spouses:  Tony & Winnie Constantine, Louis & Olga Constantino, Albert & Eleanor Constantino, Alio & Olga Constantino and Edith & Fred Pettinatti.  She leaves behind 3 children:  Albert Pavese, Joyce Klarberg & Janet (Richie) Abbott.

Also left behind are her 6 granddaughters and their families:  Beth & Robby Vought;  Diana, Frankie, Joseph, Stephen & Daniel Roselli;  Michelle, Nicholas, Matthew & Julia Walters;  Lisa, Pete, Carter, Tyler & Lindsey Blessing;  Lori, Nicholas, Hunter & Cole Kahramanidis;  Cheryl, Jim, Sean & Caitlyn Bellew.

In the later years of her life, Fanny babysat so many people who treated her like their own grandmother!  Thank you to Jeff, Lynn, Jeff, Zach & Ryan Pinerio for making her part of your family.

There are countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her love & laughter.

The family has chosen to honor Fanny's final wishes and will celebrate her life privately.  She will ultimately be cremated and placed with her dear husband at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings on Hudson, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Edgewater, FL.
