George Frank Bielut, Sr.

George Frank Bielut, Sr., age 78, of Edgewater, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Lottie and Walter Bielut; George moved to this area in 2002, from Glen Burnie, MD.

A former salesman in the food service industry, George previously owned a fishing charter because fishing was his true passion.  He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, boating, taking cruises and traveling, dancing and spending time with the neighbors.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Anita (Carl) Kolbusz of Green Bay, WI and Susan (Joseph) Miller of Salisbury, MD; three sons, George “Frank” (Karen Sistek) Bielut, Jr. of Pikeville, KY, David (Ellen) Bielut of Monroe, LA and Tony Bielut of Wilkes-Barre, PA; sister-in-law, Rosanne Bielut of Baltimore, MD; close friends, Mike and Kathy LaFountain of Edgewater; eleven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  George was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dora, in 2017.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, at the Hacienda Del Rio Clubhouse, with Pastor Kyle McQuillen, officiating.
