Hal “Bub” Lee, 40, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Born and raised in this area, Mr. Lee graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for R&R Sod Company. He had an intense love for the ocean and had a soft spot for marine animals and dogs. Hal was a phenomenal artist and in his spare time, he enjoyed drawing, playing video games, and making creations with Legos.
Survivors include his father, Hal Clifford Lee, of Deltona; mother, Grace Pleterski, of Panama City; two sisters, Toni (Aaron) Payne, of Tallahassee and Mary (Scott) Jamison, of Deltona; grandmother, Mary Alice Lee, of Samsula; five nieces; five nephews; and a large, extended family to include Rick (Rhonda) D’Alesso and Megan (Bruce) Lee.
Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with Mark Davis officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at the funeral home.
