James Edward McCreedy, Jr.

James Edward McCreedy, Jr, of Edgewater, Florida died Saturday, October 7 at home.  Born in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, Mr. McCreedy came to this area in 2015 from Pinehurst, North Carolina.  He was an Army and Marine Corps veteran, retired in sales for Teknor Apex of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and later was head starter for the Pinehurst Country Club.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; a son, James Edward McCreedy III of Edgewater; two daughters, Donna McCreedy of New Smyrna Beach, and JoAnn Olinski of Newton, New Jersey; a sister, Judy Mount of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
