Jerry Wall, 85, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to Martin and Gertrude Healy Wall; Jerry came to Florida in 1989, from his birthplace. He served in the United States Marine Corps, active in the Korean Conflict and was the recipient of a Purple Heart Medal. He was active in his local Iron Workers Union 361, American Legion Post 17, VFW 4250, the Moose Lodge and was an officer at the Elks. Mr. Wall's passion was antique cars, belonging to the Poor Boys Street Rod club, with his friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his three children, Terri (Tony) Orzo, of New Smyrna Beach, Jerry (Bridget) Wall, of Newport News, VA, and Glenn Wall, of New Smyrna Beach; sister, Betty (Tommy) Lombardo, of Staten Island, NY; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mary Wall, who passed in 2015.
