Joan K. Bussard

Joan K. Bussard, age 87, of New Smyrna Beach, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Euclid, Ohio to John and Dorothy Cerne Kovach, Joan came to the area in 1981 from Bay Village, Ohio.

 

Joan was a volunteer for Atlantic Center for the Arts, and  a founding member of SE Volusia Historical Society. She was an avid square dancer and enjoyed stained glass work. Joan loved taking care of her family.

 

Survivors include three sons, Joseph (Mary) Timoteo of Cleveland, Ohio, Anthony Timoteo of North Olmsted, Ohio and Thomas Timoteo of Parma, Ohio; step son, James (Betty) Bussard of Columbia Station, Ohio and step daughter, Barbara (Phil) Williamson of Columbia Station, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Doris (Lawrence) Macioce and Shirley Marsh; one brother, Joseph Robert (Kris) Posavad. Joan was preceded by her husband of 38 years, James and son, Frank Timoteo.
