Juanita F. Haresco, age 96, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Florida Shores Assisted Living Facility, Edgewater.
Born in the Philippines to Felix and Josefina Pajarito Fuentebella, Juanita came to the area in 1992 from her birthplace.
She was a member and active in both the Church of Christ in Cocoa Beach and Sanford area. Juanita was a Deacon in her church. She was an excellent seamstress and loved gardening and growing her own vegetables. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her 4 daughters, Nelly (Roger) Mercado, of Merritt Island; Fely (Ismael) Penecilla, of Philippines; Sue Keppler, of New Smyrna Beach and Zenia (Joe) Nudalo, of Edgewater; 2 sons, Ben (Rose) Haresco, of Philippines and Joebert (Montesa) Haresco, of Edgewater; 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Nicolas; daughter, Celia Barrios; grandson, Benjun Haresco and sister, Lourdes.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Settle-Wilder’s Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. Friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Settle-Wilder’s chapel.
