Knute "Sam" Hildreth

Knute “Sam” Hildreth, age 62, of Edgewater, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Halifax Health Hospital in Daytona Beach, following a motorcycle accident.

 

Born in Canterbury, New Hampshire, Mr. Hildreth was a laminator for Doughtery manufacturing in Edgewater, and worked for WalMart for 5 years. A peaceful, quiet man, he played trumpet in high school, was a motorcycle enthusiast and played guitar.

 

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Ronda; 3 sons, Alex Hildreth, Tyler Hildreth and Todd Gibson; 1 brother, Austin Hildreth; and 5 grandchildren, Katelyn, Natalie, Hanna, Donovan, and Draven.

 

Sam’s family will hold a service at a later date.
