Loraine Fox Kennelly

Loraine Fox Kennelly, age 61, of New Smyrna Beach, died, Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Halifax Health Hospice in Edgewater.  Born with dual citizenship in Ayr, Scotland to James Fox and Vera Glover; Loraine came to the U.S. in 1984.

 

A member of Edgewater Alliance Church, Loraine was a server in the restaurant industry.  She loved to educate herself through online research, and also loved to travel.  Loraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Michael “Mick”; her sons and step-sons, Paul Mundell of South Florida; Anthony Mundell of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Andrew Mundell of Daytona Beach, Florida; Thomas Roberts of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and David Kennelly of Virginia; daughter, Amanda Merchant of Australia; 5 grandchildren; brother, David Fox of Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Susan Cook of Bunnell, Florida; her sisters-in-law, Laura (Andrew) Rutigliano of New York; Susie (Rob) Greco of Palm Coast, Florida and Christine Kennelly of St. Petersburg, Florida.  Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Edgewater Alliance Church, with Pastor Kyle McQuillan, officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Beach. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
