Lorene Tyler

Lorene Tyler, age 66, of Edgewater, died Friday, February 15 at home.  Born in New Smyrna Beach, she was a life long area resident.  She was a retired bookkeeper.

A member of the Sandspur Riding Club of New Smyrna Beach and lover of the outdoors. Lorene enjoyed horseback riding, barrel racing, hunting, and fishing.  She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now Forever Young and Beautiful.

Survivors include a son, Shane (Connie) Hilliard of Edgewater; three sisters, Sandy (Dennis) Kirsch of New Smyrna Beach, Romelle (Wayne) Atchley of Orange City, and Patricia (Bob) Christian of Missouri; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog Cutter Luke.  She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Nancy Luke and husband Roger.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 20 at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Bonnie Ogie-Kristianson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Settle-Wilder Chapel.
