Margaret Ann Robbins

Margaret Ann Robbins, 77yrs, passed away from heart and lung compromises on Friday November 10, 2017. Originally from Eagle Rock, California she moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1968.

Margaret was a strong, independent and caring mother. She worked her way through college to become a Registered Nurse while raising six children on her own, Mrs. Robbins worked at Fish Memorial for 10 years then sixteen years in home health care. Margaret was a past Madam President and member of the Fraternal order of Eagles grand auxiliary for several years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, baking and especially spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include 3 sons, Richard Robbins of New Smyrna; Christopher Robbins of Edgewater; Robert Robbins of Port Orange. 2 daughters, Nancy Robbins of Edgewater; Linda Robbins of New Smyrna Beach; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Raymond, Danielle, Christopher, Kristen, Patrick, 4 great grandchildren, Bekah, Samantha, Blake, Travis, brother, Walter (Dana) George of Aptos, CA. She was preceded by her daughter Diana Power and sister, Katherine.

A Celebration of Life will be 12:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday November 18, 2017, at the VFW  Post  #4250, 2350 Sunset Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL., 32168. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32129. Attn: Southeast Care Center.
