MARY ELIZABETH NORMAN
Mary Elizabeth Norman was born on April, 18, 1927, to Nellie McCall and Noble Solana.
Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach, the JOY Sunday School class.
During her high school days, she was an excellent basketball player. She enjoyed bowling, loved to read and crochet. She enjoyed watching for deer in her backyard and listening to blue grass music. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her two sons, Rick (Linda) Norman, and Dennis (Carol) Norman of Edgewater; five grandsons, Tim (Lori) Norman, and Mark (Johna) Norman of New Smyrna Beach, Ryan (Crissy) Norman, and Kyle (Erika) Norman of Edgewater, and Parker Norman of Orlando; one grand daughter, Lindsey (Kyle) Squire of Maryland; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Foster of Port Orange, and Janet (Carl) Rawlins of Deltona; one brother David (Marion) Solana of P.A.; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. She is preceeded in death by parents; husband of 52 years W.R. Norman; two sisters Louise, and Margaret; and one brother Johnny.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Settle-Wilder Chapel in New Smyrna Beach, with Pastor Luke McKinney of the First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. until the service begins.
