Norman Swensen Obituary
Norman Robert Swensen, age 89, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, April 19, 2019 at his residence. Born in East Orange, New Jersey; Norman moved to this area 21 years ago from Philadelphia.
Norman served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and then went on to earn a masters degree in marketing. He traveled the world and was involved in various chemical societies throughout his career as a research analyst; and loved to golf and spend time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Jean; a daughter, Leslie Dunnuck and her husband Charles; a grandson, Corbin Dunnuck; and a sister, Cynthia Zapp. Norman was preceded in death by his son, Curt Richard Swensen.
