Pamela Lukas Obituary
Pamela Burgess Lukas passed away at home in Edgewater Florida on November 30th, 2019. Her parents were William Hillary Burgess, Sr. (retired USCG Lt.) and Doris Payne Burgess both from North Carolina but had lived in Edgewater.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law William Hillary, Jr. and Kathleen Burgess, San Marcos, Ca; Joseph Michael and Timothy (Honey) S. Shaw PHD, Edgewater, Fl; Richard Alan Burgess (retired USCG Lt.) and Christy Bartholomew, Edgewater, Fl; Jeffery Peter and Shaun Burgess, Orange Park, Fl.
She was born in Puerto Rico on May 3rd, 1952 and lived her childhood in N. Miami, Florida. She also lived in Denver Colorado and Edgewater Florida. She has nine nieces and nephews, eleven grand nieces and nephews and many cousins.
She had been a travel agent in Edgewater for many years and loved to travel. She loved to entertain and was involved in political causes. Her love for animals, especially her cats, was very important to her.
There will a Celebration of Life for Pam on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Elks Lodge. 820 W. Park Ave., Edgewater Florida.
