Patricia Lee Casseday

Patricia Lee Casseday, age 72, of Edgewater, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at home.  Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Mrs. Casseday came to this area in 1991 from Windham, Ohio.  A retired factory worker, she had a green thumb and was known for growing plants and flowers.  She also had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed the outdoors and camping.

Survivors include three sons, Frank (Diane) Dedon of Midland, Texas, William Dedon of Tampa, and Roy (Renae) Dedon of New Smyrna Beach; three sisters, Florence Carter of Edgewater, Sharon (Dale) Brown of Garrettsville, Ohio, and Karen Johnson of Warren, Ohio; a brother, Douglas (Candy) Casseday of Southington, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5 at Settle-Wilder Chapel, with Chaplain Bonnie Ogie-Kristianson of Vitas Hospice officiating.  Interment will follow in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Friday until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 2381 Mason Avenue, Ste. 100, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
