Patricia Ann Sampson

Patricia Ann Sampson, age 71, of Edgewater, died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna.  Born on May 20, 1946 in Bronx, New York to George and Margret Murfitt; Patricia moved to this area 12 years ago from Middletown, New York.

 

A retired bookkeeper, Patricia enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, that meant the world to her.

 

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Richard; a son, John Sampson, of Walden, New York; a daughter, Sharon Demchick and her husband William of Edgewater; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa Sampson, Zachary, Katelyn and Gabriella Demchick; a sister, Marion Ayala and her husband Anthony, of Ormond Beach and a brother, John Murfitt, of Washington State.  

 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20 at Settle-Wilder’s chapel, with Father Patrick Quinn, T.O.R., Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater.  Friends will be received Thursday, October 19 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m.
