Shirley Thurston Obituary
Shirley A. Thurston, age 73, of Edgewater, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home. Born in Eaton, New Hampshire, to Harold and Doris Evelyn Day Thurston, Shirley came to the area in 2001 from Fryeburg, Maine.
A former lumber mill cut shop manager at Bailey’s Manufacturing, she also was the co-owner of S & L Home and Lawn Care. Shirley enjoyed home repair projects, was a loyal friend, excellent listener and had a generous heart. She loved her schnauzer, Grace.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and close friends that were like family. Shirley will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Settle-Wilder’s chapel with Pastor David Keazirian, officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gifts of Love Community Coalition, 820 W. Park Avenue, Edgewater, Florida 32141.
