Tammy Lynn Cousins, age 49, of Edgewater, died Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. Daughter of Bobby and Peggy Piser Cousins, Tammy was a lifelong resident of this area.
Tammy was a certified pharmacy technician at Walgreens for 19 years and was the vice president of the Edgewater Fire and Rescue Association. She enjoyed cooking, calling bingo at the fire hall, making people smile and laugh, and spending time with the most important people in her life, her family.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Moore, of Edgewater; a sister, Kimberly Barlow, of Edgewater; and sister Lisa and brother, Stephen Cousins, of Edgewater; a granddaughter that meant the world to her, Abby Cousins; a niece, Brittney Barlow; a nephew, Brodie Sapp; mother-in-law, Clara Kestory; aunt, Ann “Tootsie” DeRosa; and a large extended family. Tammy was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Cousins, in 2010.
A celebration of life will be at the Edgewater Fire Hall, 2616 Hibiscus Drive, Edgewater, on Thursday, March 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; with a service at 5:00 p.m. The family requests casual and bright dress for the celebration of life.
