Trella Gail Cochran

Trella Gail Cochran, age 67, of Keystone Heights and formerly of Oak Hill, died March 1, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Indiana, to Robert and Mary Swim Thompson, Trella spent most of her life in Deland and Oak Hill.  

A homemaker, office administrator, and auto mechanic, Trella enjoyed watching crime and drama shows on television and was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include her son, Juney Thompson and his wife, Heidi; a sister, Marie Wilson, a grandson, William, and several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferlin, in 2010.  

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Settle-Wilder Chapel with the Reverend Don Shoebert, Beachside Baptist Church, New Smyrna Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
