Ada Vivian Macey

Ada Vivian Macey, age 92, died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at her residence. Born in Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania to Isaac and Meltina Eichler Reynolds, Ada came to the area in 1988 from North Huntingdon, PA. 

Ada retired from Volusia County School, Dietary Service Worker and was a member at Church of God. She enjoyed traveling, visiting  and entertaining her family and friends. Ada loved new experiences, always wanting to try new things.  Ada was very active, doing yard work, and always helping people. For the last 10 years, she helped a mother with two children as she studied for nursing. Ada donated her time and items to charities.

Relatives include her father, Isaac Reynolds and mother, Meltina Eichler Reynolds (both deceased); sister, Esther V. Vanorsdale, Paul (both deceased); their children, Charles Vanorsdale, Edgewater, FL; Maxine Bell (Stuart), Belvedere, IL; Thomas W. Vanorsdale (Vickie), Mt. Pleasant, PA; Robert Vanorsdale (Betty), Dunbar, PA;  Mary Jane (deceased); Randal Vanorsdale, Ormond Beach, FL; sister, Dolores Murray Burgeron (deceased) and her children, Shirley D. Link, Edgewater, FL, Dolores Jean (Dee), Adelaide, PA; and Kenneth Murray (deceased); brother, Richard Reynolds (deceased) and his children; Ricky Reynolds (Nichole), Lemont Furnace, PA; Mark Reynolds (deceased); Greg Reynolds (deceased); Billy Reynolds (deceased); and Jeff Reynolds (Carol), Kissimmee, FL: sister, Joan Macey (Edward, Skip) deceased; and their children, Edward Macey, Pittsburg, PA; Patty Macey (Tim), Greensburg, PA; Diana Fix, Manor, PA; Joanne (Jason) Claridge, PA; and Tammy (Eric) Brentzel, Ardara, PA.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 28, 2024 at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, with Bishop Charles R. Vanorsdale, Church of God, Daytona Beach officiating. Entombment will immediately follow.
