Annette L. Marziale, 73, of Edgewater, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Port Orange. Annette was born to the late Arthur and Shirley Kelly Hansen on August 27, 1947 in Buffalo, New York. She came to Edgewater in 2006 from Clarence Center, New York.
Annette was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and exploring new places. She loved Disney World; Annette and her husband, Gary, would take their children every year; and go to her favorite attraction, the Enchanted Tiki Room. Annette also enjoyed the theater, especially musicals, going to New York to see several shows. She was a devoted wife, mother, and a very doting grandmother that loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Gary; son, Joseph (Davida) Marziale of DeLand; 2 daughters, Deborah Dooly of Oviedo, and Denise (Mark) Pronti, of Horseheads, NY; 4 grandsons, Brendan Dooly, Vaughn, Zander and Slater Marziale; 2 granddaughters, Angelina and Amelia Pronti; 2 brothers, Donald (Trish) and Paul Hanson; sister, Judy (Robert) Prange; Mother-In-Law, Arlene Marziale; brother-in-law, Jim Kasprzyk. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Mary Kasprzyk, son-in-law, Michael Dooly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, with the Reverend Patrick Quinn, officiating. Family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 30th at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach. Memorial donations may be made in Annette’s memory to: Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
