Anthony Lamela Obituary

Anthony Lamela, age 65, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his residence. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey to John and Manuela Quintella Lamela, Anthony came to the area in 1986 from New Jersey.

A painter by trade, he was a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, enjoyed fishing and was a BIG Giants fan. Anthony cherished his time with his family and loved his grandchildren very much. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ellen; two daughters, Erin (Kevin) Lamela and Lisa Lamela; son, Anthony (Stephanie Kuti) Lamela; all of Edgewater; seven grandchildren, Kylie, Emery, Kira, Kylee, Alyssa, Camden and Curtis; two brothers, John Lamela, of Pennsylvania, and Manuel Lamela, of New Jersey; two sisters, Margaret Lamela and Anne (Guy) Ryan, all of New Jersey. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents.
